There have never been as many displaced children as there are today. Nearly 30 million children are currently fleeing war, persecution and extreme poverty. Every day, the conflict in Syria alone drives more than 3,000 children from their homes. These children are in urgent need of protection. This is why Save the Children is building child-friendly spaces in refugee camps, temporary shelters and transit camps around the world.
Save the Children is the world’s largest independent children’s rights organisation. Since 1919, Save the Children has been working specifically for the rights of children. We are dedicated to give children a healthy start into their lives, the opportunity to learn and protection from harm. We do whatever it takes for children – every day and in times of crisis – transforming their lives and the future we share. In Switzerland, Save the Children has been active since 2006 and is Zewo-certifiedwww.savethechildren.net
